We care about our community. Throughout Excelda's history, one constant has been our culture of caring. We live this value every day by making sure our products and facilities are safe. We care about our community because we live and work here. As a local company, it's our privilege to give back in any way we can -- from food bank drives to cash donations to helping those in need by sponsoring an extremely successful Red Cross Blood Drive.
Our associates use their time, energy, knowledge, and personal donations, to make an impact that is widespread, deliberate, and – above all – delivered at the most crucial times. Numerous charities and organizations benefit from Excelda's donations such as the University of Michigan Cancer Center, St. Andrew's Breakfast Club, Gleaners Food Bank, North End Soup Kitchen, LACASA - Livingston Area Council Against Spouse Abuse, Toys for Tots, Coats for Kids, and the Livingston County Red Cross.
It's our efforts in the communities where our associates live and work that help keep us rooted in our heritage and in touch with our customers.
Forgive our Casual Dress - it's for a good cause. Since 2008, Excelda Associates have been donating a portion of their paychecks to the charity of their choice. The goal is to contribute locally and benefit the communities where Excelda Associates live. This donation allows associates to adopt a new dress code: blue jeans! Excelda matches these donations dollar for dollar.
